RealMom Forceps Assisted Demo
Operative forceps delivery is a procedure that can be life-saving for the baby
and a way to avoid a C-Section for the mother. The ability to teach the
procedure multiple times can save lives in an emergency situation but the
opportunity to learn these skills in a real patient setting can be a challenge.
Dr. Dipak Delvadia of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Drexel
University recorded this demonstration of an operative delivery with the use of
forceps with RealMom for Drexel residents and students.
