Lou Oberndorf to take over as CEO of Operative Experience.

North East, Md., April 4, 2019. Operative Experience (OEI), a leading developer of healthcare simulation and education solutions, today announced that OEI chairman, Lou Oberndorf will assume the role of CEO for the company, effective immediately. Former CEO, Mick Navin has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

“I’m excited to take responsibility of CEO at this pivotal time for the company,” said Oberndorf. “We experienced tremendous growth in 2018 and we continue to embark on an aggressive product development plan for 2019, in addition to expanding our sales team and deepening our global distribution partnership with 3B Scientific outside of the Americas.”

Oberndorf brings more than 23 years of experience in medical technology leadership, including serving as founder and CEO of Medical Education Technologies Inc. In addition, Chief Financial Officer, Justin Weitzenfeld, will take on the additional role of General Manager of Operations at the company’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in NorthEast, Maryland.
